Park in shade whenever possible for the first month. Fresh paint is more susceptible to UV damage during the curing period. If shade isn't available, a car cover works — just make sure it's clean and soft.

Remove bird droppings and tree sap immediately — within hours, not days. These are acidic and will etch into fresh clear coat faster than cured paint. Use a damp microfiber and gentle soap.
