Total Care Collision wasn't born in a classroom or a business plan. It was born from frustration — 20 years of paying top dollar for body work that came back wrong, took months, and cost us sales. When you sell premier luxury vehicles for a living, "close enough" doesn't exist. So we stopped waiting for someone else to get it right and built the shop ourselves.

MiamiMotors.com Inc. Opens
Lionel launches MiamiMotors.com, a premier luxury and exotic car dealership specializing in very low mileage vehicles. The concept is simple but demanding — every car on the lot has to be better than new. No exceptions. The dealership quickly becomes one of eBay Motors' top-rated sellers for low-mileage luxury inventory, building a reputation with buyers nationwide who trust MiamiMotors for the kind of vehicle condition most dealers can't deliver.
1999–2018
The Problem Nobody Could Solve
Running a luxury dealership means every vehicle that ships has to be flawless. A mismatched paint panel, a bumper gap that's a millimeter off, orange peel in the clear coat — any of these kills a $50,000+ sale. For nearly two decades, Lionel searched for body shops that could meet that standard. He paid top dollar. He tried the "best" shops in South Florida. The result was always the same: cars sitting for months, repairs that weren't even close to acceptable, and jobs that had to be redone — sometimes two or three times. The shops that charged the most weren't the best. They were just the most expensive.
2019
Building the Team
Enough was enough. Lionel begins recruiting his own repair team — technicians who understand that luxury-level work isn't about speed, it's about precision. Paint matching that accounts for UV fade, not just factory codes. Panel alignment measured in millimeters. Clear coat that's cut and buffed to showroom standard, not just sprayed and shipped. The team starts handling repairs on MiamiMotors' own inventory, and the difference is immediate. Cars come back right the first time. Turnaround drops from months to weeks. The standard finally matches the product.
2019–2023
Word Gets Out
Friends, family, and other dealers start asking: "Can your guys fix my car too?" What started as an internal solution for the dealership begins handling outside work. The demand grows. Customers who've been through the same frustration Lionel experienced — paying for quality and getting excuses — find a shop that actually delivers. The reputation builds through results, not advertising.
2024
Total Care Collision Opens to the Public
Total Care Collision officially opens at 140 NW 14th St in Pompano Beach — a full-service collision repair center built on the standards of a luxury car dealer. Every process, every quality check, every customer interaction is designed around one principle: your car should come back better than you expected, not worse than you feared. From day one, Total Care offers what most shops don't — multilingual service in English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, and French. Full insurance claim handling. Free towing. ADAS calibration. Tesla and EV capability. A lifetime warranty that means something because the work is done right.

I spent 20 years paying other shops to do it wrong. I built Total Care Collision to do it right — because I know what it feels like to get your car back and be disappointed. That doesn't happen here.
